• Mozart in the South Festival Youth Orchestra Information
• We are holding auditions for principal chairs on Sunday, August 16, 2009.  It is not necessary to audition in order to participate in the festival, but it is strongly encouraged that you take advantage of this audition experience.  The time and location is still to be determined.  Principal players will be invited to appear on Lowcountry Live on Friday, September 11, 2009 from 10am-11am to perform selections from Eine Kleine Nachtmusik.

• Mozart: Allegro - opening to B and F to G; Romanza- opening to A; Rondo - coda to end
• Grieg: Air - Opening to N; Rigaudon - Opening to U
• Viola:
• Grieg: Sarabande - opening to F; Gavotte - I to K; Air - R to 4 after R; Rigaudon - first 8 measures
• Cello:
• Mozart: Romanze, D to F
